hi all,
do i need to replace knock sensor as eml comes on and off, ive done paper clip test and it says its knock sensor, by not replacing or repairing this will it affect the running of the car, ??? :-/

just done paper clip test, and come up with code 16, can you tell me what a knock sensor does and what it affects with the running of the car , thanks,

b tw, took it back to garage few days later as eml was on, he said it was knock sensor and would be ok, reset codes and left it at that, car now seems to have no pull in it and just not drivin as it was

hi , yes as far as i know, was done at a garage with good rep, i off on hol friday pulling caravan so i bit worried
any ideas about fumes??

hi all
my 2,5 v6 petrol auto has the eml on and the car seems to be sluggish, started it this morning and it seem as if the sound from exhaust is missing and also smells strong with fuel, btw im quite new to this and also only ever done an oil change so bit of a novice, note ,,, cam belt changed few weeks ago and not seemed rite since, also plugs changed, hheeelllppp please  :(

does anyone know where the cable for the ariel connects to rear windscreen on 2.5 saloon, gonna buy new cable as mine is chuffed up behind radio but dont know where other end connects

evenin all,
my 1998 omega 2.5 v6 saloon keeps grounding on speed bumps and anything with a bit of a dip or raised bit,it either drags on exhaust or tow bar grounds as i go over last bit of bump, :(  :oany suggestions as im worried when i stick caravan on im gonna have problems,  :question  :'(

will do , cheers :y do you know if you can easily change the air con button and heated seat button on dash as they are worn, also bulb behind speedo gone is that an easy fix :-/

smells hot not an oily smell but faint hint of burning smell, know i sound a plank but difficult to describe   :-/

hi, i eventually took all your advice and have bought a 2.5L V6 CD VERSION 1998, when i run it the fan comes on really quick and the engine seems very hot, temp guage runnung about 90-95 , im not losing any water , any ideas or is this normal on omegas

hi, im looking at buying an omega 2.0gls on a w plate, test drive was lovely apart from a ticking/tapping noise from what seemed to be top of engine, when revved noise was faster but not louder . can anyone help me to what this could be or am i lokking at a big problem
