Anyone know how to remove one of these spoilers without damaging either the boot paintwork or the spoiler. :-?hi, its some sort of strong adhesive mate be careful :-/
There doesn't appear to be any screws etc.... I'm guessing it's been secured with twin sided adhesive foam tape.
I've just acquired an Irmscher spoiler with the built in LED brake light and intend to replace this factory fitted one.
my 3.2 auto elite is in need of an rear box and centre pipes according to the man who services it as i had fitted a genuine exhaust from vauxhall on my old 2.5 i thought same and asked him to investigate getting me a new one but he said that walker exhausts are just as good i said surely not but was adamant they are.i,ve got a full walker exhaust on my 2.0 16v and its noisier then the old system (original) so make your own mind up mate
as anyone had experience of the walker system as i had a bosell on the 2.5 until i had genuine fitted and it was absolute crap

I am a new member to the forum. A year ago I bought an ex-Government Omega (2001 2.6 CD Auto) with 56K on the clock. Now 10k miles later it has sprayed oil in the engine bay and the water in the header tank is like slurry.what was the garage called ROBEM&SCARPER,proprieter D, turpin ??get a real garage quote and keep it
Garage has told me it is the oil cooler and it will need replacing together with the radiator and all the the hoses. The whole oil and water system will need flushing out.
I've bee quoted an eyewatering £1,200 inc VAT to have all this done. I have also been told that if I went to a local Vauxhall dealer they would charge £95/hour and the cost would be un economic.
Since she is a great car in every respect I am tempted to think - Hell what sort of car can I buy for £1,200 lets do it.
Do you think I am mad and do you feel I may be ripped off by the repair costs?
Hi! I have just put on a new tyre on the offside rear wheel. Now there is a knock/rattle on the nearside rear suspension and the level seems to have dropped an inch or two. Any ideas out there?broken spring maybe?? :-/

hellois it the front fog light??? if so remove the screws and detatch the grill next to the foglight then undo the screw and pivot the fog light lens forward or if its corroded you will have to drill it out and replace!!ok mate

i have a 2.5 cd td the problem i am having is the sunroof when its been raining and i drive the car drips of water falls on my head even thou roof is shut how do i stop this as fed up having a shower lol
I have had this problem for a while now, when going reasonable fast and then brake the steering shakes, if you go normal speed it also shakes when you break, but if you pump the brakes slowly then break it doesnt shake ?sounds like warped discs ?also have you checked your front wheel bearings for play?? :-/
I have changed the track rod ends, to no avail as they seemed a little to much play in the ball joint.
So could it be the disc, or one of the break cylanders seezing, or could it be some joint worn, someone reconed it could be your tracking, but not sure about that.
I have mentioned the pumping of the breaks to see if this could relate to a direct problem ?

Whilst driving home after dropping the kiddies off to school this morning there was a really strong smell of petrol. When I parked up I lifted the bonnet and looked underneath the car which is when I happened upon this
Now, I guess the bearing and the smell of petrol are unrelated but can anyone tell me where this could be from?

I am getting a dash warning for 'Brake Pad'. Is there any way of telling if it's front or back without physical inspection? :-/fronts mate:y

Most have a detrimental affect on perfromance, though the noise may make you think otherwise. On the bigger engines, there is more to be gained (and lost), unlike the OP's 2.0l.
As you're running an oiled filter, just be careful, as the expensive MAFs don't like the oil.
Hence I stick to the std, genuine part...

yep - I think the filter is pretty free flowing and the same as on all models so if it can cope with the flow on a 3.0 I would guess that there's not much improvement to be had from standard.thats why i joined this forum common sense prevails i,ll leave it standard,thanks,, a v6 would be nice again i had one a couple of years back a cdx.!!!!
