Omega General Help / '02 Omega 2.6 V6 Autobox 'Slippage'
« on: 12 May 2009, 13:09:08 »
I have an '02 2.6 V6 Elite Auto with 132K, had some trouble with the autobox and had 'slippage' diagnosed and solution to the problem of  a exchange 'box at about £1,400.

Has anyone else come across this and have any ideas?

Cheers.

Omega General Help / Omega Elite Self Leveling Suspension Query
« on: 13 February 2009, 12:00:37 »
Hello there,

I would like some advice please.  Had my '02 Omega 2.6 Elite in for a service yesterday and the garage has told me that one the rear shockers is leaking oil.

The replacements are supposed to be very expensive (but am going to call Autovaux this afternoon to double check!)

So the alternative is to convert to a standard set up which will involve new shockers and springs.

Does anyone have any views on whether converting is a good option, or should I stick with the self levelling shocks?

Thanks for any advice.

Omega General Help / '02 2.6 stalling
« on: 12 July 2008, 13:04:49 »
Hi everyone,

I've got a 2002 Omega Elite 2.6 which keeps stalling.  Saw a post about hesitation / glitch and learnt about the brake / gas peddle test.

Code reading is coming out as 0335.

Looked at the fault codes in the tech section (but these are for the 2.0i) and that code is for "Incorrect RPM signal".

Does anyone know what that means?

Cheers.

Hi everyone,

Thought I would drop in to say hello.  I bought my Omega 2.6 Elite in May 2007 and have dropped in to your website lots of times and thought it was time to join up!
