hi thanks for the responses to my question about my water leak is tere any way of checking to confirm that this is the problem ? our should i just replace the hbv
Hi, I've got a 2001 y reg Omega 2.2 petrol CDX Sometimes the car loses water and I can 't figure out why. I only notice when doing routine checks and the reservoir is empty for no apparent reason. :'(The temperature gauge doesn’t indicate a problem and the hoses all seem okay. The display says Says 'check coolant level' even when the water is topped up. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi, we've got a message up on the dash saying check coolant level, but the water level is fine and the car ( 2.2 CDX on Y reg) is not overheating. Does anyone have any ideas why this should show? Getting concerned as going on holiday with baby next weekend! :-?
Does anyone have the reset procedure. Tried turning key to ii in ignition and pressing blipper on fob but nothing happened ( not sure if this is right)
Hey thanks for all the advice. We did try replacing the battery (some guy from Halfords had a nightmare with it) and it didn't fix the problem so looks like Lizzie Zoom is right and getting its micro'dangle berries' repaired could be the answer! We are based near Watford in Herts. Any idea where and how much it might cost? Cheers m'dears.
Hi thanks for the quick reply. I didnt make myself clear (wine and knackered), the central locking will work from the key manually but the blipper on both keys we own fails to work. Cheers.
Can anyone help - this is causing much embarrassment. My Omega Estate CDX 2.2 has developed a problem with the alarm going off when I open the drivers door manually with the key. The alarm stops when I start the engine. For the record, the central locking doesn't work and we haven't got round to investigating why (new baby etc etc). Whether it has anything to do with 2 year old flicking around with switches we're not sure but it is an intermittant fault which happens 90% of the time. Thanks for any advice!
