Newbie Welcome Area / Hello again all!

I joined this Forum back in 2008 when looking for an Omega (I had one before!) but ended up not getting one and went for an Alfa 156 Veloce instead...  That is going now and I am on the hunt for a decent 2000+ 3.0 MV6 - Do need to get rid of the 156 1st - but have just been rear ended in a queue of traffic, so may be uneconomical to repair?

Will have a budget of upto £1.5k - want a manual saloon....  can't wait to get back behind the wheel of an Omega!   :D

Is there any drops in performance?...  I was thinking on perhaps Bio-ethanol as a fuel cost saver...  a plug & play kit is about £400 and the fuel is a lot less expensive, plus it gives great performance gains...  not really looked at it for an Omega yet, but was considering it on my Vectra, but don't want to spen anything now, just want to sell it and get an Omega again!

Thanks for the welcome!...  Yeah, that is my thinking, as fuel is much now, I think that the 3.0 will be a bargain to buy as not many people will want to be running that size of engine, but if they want a smile on there face in a good RWD motor then they are fools! ;)

Hi there all!...

Am currently running a Vectra 2.0 CDX (For Sale By The Way!)...  And am looking around currently for a nice elite/mv6 3.0.... (Only want to spend about a grand or so!)  Used to own a 2.5 1996 Omega and loved every second behind the wheel!...  (Until the bonnet disagreed with a Volvo pulling out of my very narrow blind drive! - Not the shortest of noses to stick out!) so am looking forward to getting my hands back on one the the nicest handling cars I have ever driven (Particularly if TC in not on...)  am sure that I will be asking plenty of questions as I get round to making her look and go a bit better over time!...

Great looking forum guys and the more the merrier!..

Cheers

Reedy :D ;D :D
