is there any high pressure(you can know by squeezing the hose) in fact your description tells that there is either blocking in the water circle or leaking , to know if the HG, let the coolant cools so as you can open the tank safely, then fill it to the brim, then start the motor as you are watching, if HG there you will find bubbles from the cilender to the water tank and the water will flow out, if no water outing from the tank, maybe the termostat, , or a block a crack in the circle

Hi everyone. Just a little question. Is it possible to reset the ecu without disconnecting the battery as I dont want to loose my radio code? I have a 2001 CDX 2.6 v6. Thanks.  :)
if you want to disconnect the battery without inserting radio code, do lock the car with remote and disconnect battery and you can do what ever you like when you finish work keep doors locked and connect battery then you can unlock doors, by this you will not need to radio code insertion

my 2.2 omega motor got out of order, so it was replaced by another used one in good condition, but alas, the temp. with the second motor is getting 97 at which point fans start with low speed  and stop when temp gets 93, while with the old motor fans were starting as soon temp. got 91 degree and stop at 85. some times the temp rises to over 100

« on: 14 September 2008, 09:50:23 »
dear Mr. Marks,
I read your topic about how to chek autobox but I want to make sure  that way is correct or the way I saw the technician followed in filling my car autobox( he first filled the auto box as the motor was idle then he asked me to start the motor and to pot the gear stick on Reverse and then he cocinued filling. the autobox took about 5 liters of ATFIII.
pls asure me which way to follow because my car autobox is leaking since months but the car did not give ay sign that autobox is lacking oil.
thanks & best regards,
Aymen :)
