Omega General Help / headlight

My 99 pre facelift omega CD has just failed its MOT on headlight pattern, nearside. Apparently the plastic lens is dirty inide, is there any other option than replacement ?.

Thanks for advice Kevin, had tried everything this site suggested finally this afternoon started it with friends help, had me moving locked steering wheel left to right from passenger seat while mate turned key in ignition repeatedly took about 5 second, have now taken barrel out and cleaned seems okay crossed fingers, hopefully thats £150 i won't have to spend.

Hi, all
What's the option if key still won't turn in ignition barrel after nearly 2 hours of trying, had no problems previous to yesterday when would'nt turn.
Car locksmith has quoted me £150 to release and clean barrel, ouch!
