Glad I didn't answer first, I had fogotten about the memory side. There are a few blokes on here breaking facelifts, PM them and I am sure you will get one no problem.  :y

p.s. Is it just the cover that is broken?

The plastic pivot on the lower and upper section have sheared
The mirror is ok
I dont want to sound like a complete wally but how do I get to the fixing screws I assume I have to take the triangular piece of trim off inside the car behind where the mirror is situated
If so how is the trim removed
Thanks for the imput

Omega General Help / Fitting mirrors
« on: 10 April 2009, 23:20:47 »
My wife has just sliced off the offside mirror with the wheely bin
Is it much of a task to fit a new one?
The model is a 2003 Elite estate with Irmscher trim
I was a bit stunned when I found out the price of a new one
If I  get a seconhand part are all mirrors on  the post 2000 Omegas
the same or is that to much to hope for
Thanks in advance
Ian

Hi
I am after an offside mirror for a 2003 Elite estate
Would what you have on offer suit
The rear case of my mirror is ok so to avoid any spraying I would want to fit that to the replacement unit
Would that work
Regards
Ian
