But I cant come up with what I need info on!
I have a 98 s 2.5 elite auto. When I start the car from cold the engine ticks very loudly kind of like a clock. However once it has warmed up after a min or two the ticking stops and the engine sound normal.
Anyone have any idea as to what is causing this?

How about a MK1 Golf gti?..I saw one at Santa Pod not so long ago that was twin engine 4wd. That would be a project and a half.

Or you could always bring my elite back to its former glory ::)

General Discussion Area / Re: TomTom, Garmin or Navman????

I own a small courier company so have a fair amount of experience with most makes.
Myself and most of the drivers I have use Garmin. I find them easy to use and very accurate. I feel the price of them is is fair. I think that its the same with most things in that you get what you pay for. Tom Toms are fine too but I think they just do a better job of advertising. Garmins are generaly used throughout the shipping world also.
It all really boils down to what you feel suits you best.

http://www.shiply.com/
For those of you who send parts or want to buy cars miles away from you this site might be of some help.
If you look at the search shipments area you can get an idea of the kind of prices things are getting shipped for. Basicly you post up what you want taken and the to and from addreses and couriers bid on the job.
Obviously its not just for car related things and its not for everybody but i thought it may be of some use to some of you. :)
