More info than an ad, but KW02XOK (pics here) is available near Glasgow.

I sold it to the current owner in 2021 and he's got another car. It's SORNed on his driveway. I said I'd mention it here in case someone can give it a good home - hope that's ok.

Happy to pass on contact info.

Looking for around £120 for the CCR2006 and £235 for the MV6 springs (UK postage included)

Bear with me - I'm working on another car this week and it's trying to get away from me

I've sold the MV6 and have come across unused parts that might be of interest on here:

- CCR2006 (silver front, with magazine, manual and passcard)
- MV6 rear springs (GM9193196)

Will likely list them on ebay this weekend or DM/post if you want to ask

^ This. I had the Holden done with Dinitrol - took most of a week to prep and complete.

This is also an interesting comparison

Although I did get a sinking feeling when he said 'The lessons I've learned from so many Ebola outbreaks in my career...'

Long but interesting read:

https://www.wired.co.uk/article/chronic-infection-uk-coronavirus-variant

The takeways are that the B.1.1.7 (Kent) variant probably emerged from a patient with a weakened immune system, allowing the virus to 'learn'. And that the more ANY Covid type spreads, the more likely it is to find a really dangerous variant.

If you have a spare 40 minutes or so:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000nf2m

It creates a culture of resentment. It creates in 60-70% of the population an idea that they are the real victims, that the whole of society is stacked against them. Politicians appeal to this - they win elections by suggesting that the majority of voters are suffering, the majority of voters are victims, and if only they can get in they can transform their lives. And that, I think, also creates a toxic atmosphere in politics.

Slightly leftfield but I'd hoped Rory Stewart would have another go at London mayor. He's consistently struck me as small-c conservative, competent and heart in the right place.

I fully expect to be shouted down.

+ 1 for applying polish/similar after clearing cloudy headlights. I did the Holden's with abrasives but it quickly went backwards and ended up just replacing ^

Thanks - I've acquired a 2-4-6 coil pack just in case but I'm mindful it might be something similar (not least because the plugs have been replaced recently and it's No 2 cylinder when No 6 would be the prime suspect).

Find out next week.
