(Your alarm power sounder will set the alarm off every couple of hours at night until it spontaneously combusts and destroys the car. Unless you remove it as described in these pages)

(Quote from a previous post,)

My main alarm, horn ,indicators ect go off when it happens  would this be linked to the power sendor as the unit does seem to be stand alone.

Had a problem with mine  ,on the main gear or underneath on the same unit there is a slot which a screw runs in adjustable from the outside (opposite side to motor) mine binded as if gone past the stop piont.I asume these work on a high current change over when up or down is reached. The motor was a worm drive so not much of a chance to move blind buy pulling. If you open the gear box be very careful as it will be in tension by a spring and you could damage the gears if it lets go.
All okay now

on my unit wireing tucked in behind cage there is an extension lead .This plugged into the main radio loom and I assume they cut into the extension to connect the traffic master so basicaly the car loom hasn't been chopped maybe if you have the same it may have come loose.

If no joy with your unit you could try these based in Germany. Not a cheap option .It's an ebay item but you can phone just tell the guy your from england and he will put someone on who talk de english and give you a price (24hr turn round for mine)

Simplistic view:

There is an amp in the NCDC2013, but when fitted to Elite, the internal amp is disabled in favour of the external Bose amp

Just took my 2013 to a local repair shop got probs with radio just stops recieving :(. Asked about putting units into delivery mode ie one got from a scrapper  He quoted £50,  shall have to ask if given the display code would he enter as well.I know some members are working on this problem of coding HU.                                            On my unit iv'e tested ariel plugs & sockets paid 11.50 just to be plugged into comp awaiting results to see cost of repair or something in car causing prob :-/
