the heater isn't going on a omega, its going on my rangey, i fitted a webasto but i cant get it to run, the flame doesnt hold, it has worked before tho. i managed to aquire one of the ebers from a diesel omega, i was searching for a manual for the wiring, see if i can connect it to my existing wiring loom for the webasto.

i have found this site:

lots of stuff there including the software for diagnosis.

i might stip the webasto down and see what i can find.

maybe a re install will help it out!!

can anyone give me any info on the fuel burning heater fitted to diesel models?

if you have one its located in front of drivers wheel behind bumper.

i'm particularly after a wiring diagram + pin out if anyone has one?????

what he meant were no more setting the tappets and fiddling with feeler guage etc

it sorts its self out and the tapping is them doing this

i think this is the hydraulic tappets and nothing to worry about, mine does it and my range rover does on ocaision. so long as the noise clears up quite quickly i'm sure its fine. check your oil level tho just in case!!

its just a piece of plastic, its not the plug in question.  :y

the pics arnt very good but as you can make out, only 2 wires! there are no other wires as ive had a poke about!

ok fellas, aquired the gubbins normally associated with cruise control(cc)

had a look at the top of the turret and there are 2 2 pin connectors and no multi plug. the actuator doesnt have any wire on it so i have no idea how to wire it up.

any help?

check your terminals first and if they are all tight and clean its gonna be the moter!!

very limited knowledge here but similar faults crop up on rangerovers if battery is low/dead and or alternator is shagged. might be worth checking outputs of each with a multimeter if you can get it to run!!
