If it does and its a 2.5 then I have one here from a 99 2.5 estate I got on Friday last week...
Removal is simply a matter of undoing the 6 20mm torx bolts that holds the ECU in place, but its tricky to get the socket in there...removal of some parts is just a matter of aiding access to the bolts...
Do it yourself, its not hard, just fiddly...and will save you a LOT of money in labour charges...for a mechanic or if you have done the job before it shouldnt take more than 2 hours, probably less but they will charge you for a lot more...if you werent so far away I would do the job for you
20mm are big bolts!
It seems I have to take it out to find the serial number in order to order a replacement.
Would the one you have out a 99 2.5 estate have the same serial number? ( mine is a 2000 2.5 manual estate)
