Auxiliary drive belt just shredded. is it possible that more damage could be done as it now fails to start sounds like no compression! Think its time to go.

Thanks for your help, good news is. I was stuck in the snow this morning and tried the AS button again switching on radio as per manual and left it about 10 mins, up it came safe 7. obviously I hadn't reached the max tries. whoopeee !

Hi,
had a few probs in the last couple of months cost a few quid as I'm sure you guys know!
Anyway I have now used up the 10 attempts on the radio code. I do have the correct code just made a mistake. Please tell me this is not going to cost me more money is there a way around the ( take to the dealer scenario )
appreciate any ideas thanks.

Has anyone any idea about this one. Starts fine runs fine but every now and again it cuts out. Also occasionally engine revs peak a little when idling. Would be grateful for any ideas. Thanks.

Thanks Guys ! Sorry I took so long to reply! Had a few problems to deal with recently unrelated to car. Anyway Cleaned the ICV . still same problem. So I took it back to local garage. This is where I had the crank sensor replaced last June. Turned out it was faulty. He replaced it under warranty and so far seems to be ok. Cost me nothing! www.westendlanemotors.co.uk I feel he deserves a mention. Myself and a couple of friends have used him before recommended! Thanks again people.

Wonder if anyone has any ideas? V6 CDX 2.5. Taking 3 or 4 attempts before she starts. Also cuts out frequently when on tickover. Would appreciate any help thanks.
