Omega General Help / 2.6 v6 Auto box problems

Having problems with my 51 plate V6 auto box. When starting off I have to wind it up to 3-4000 revs before it will change up. Very annoying when in traffic & to be honest sometimes scary because it will take off ok at times. Seems to be worse when either travelling up or down hill. Hot or cold, doesn't make any difference, feels just like a clutch slipping. I would be greatful for any ideas/suggestions. Regards Ian.

Feel better already. got to pop out & brave the elements. car broken down @ work & don't like the idea of leaving it there all night, snow or no snow.

Hi all, feel a bit guilty as i'm on my 2nd omega & have only found you when i'm in need of help. Already found lots of relevent while perusing as guest. I am a convert now.
