Lots to consider really, the main reason for getting one is the 60 mile round trip i do to uni 3 days a week and the 40 mile roundtrip i do the other 4 days to go to work, most of it is motorway around 250miles, ive got a budget of 1200 for the car and then I could stretch to another 600-800 in january to spend on it what do you guys think i should and could get with that kinda money ?

Im looking at a manual 2.5td but if there isnt that much differnce between a 2.5 v6 and the td then ill go for one of those they seem to be cheeper as well which suits me fine how much are these LPG conversions ive allways been interested in getting one since it effictivley doubles the fuel economy

Im looking to buy one of these to go to uni and back in as im doing around 250miles a week which in my callibra is costing me around £60 in petrol, so the MPG doesnt work out to great really , what is the average mpg of the 2.5td I looked on parkers and it says 30 MPG which im not sure about thanks in adavance matt.

bascaically as the title says i have found a cheap omega that needs work on the gearbox and ive found a cheap box from a 2.0 petrol will it fit the car? any advice on buying a 2.5td? are they tuneable i know there 120bhp but supposedly you can see 150bhp with a chip? thanks for any help matt.
