Omega General Help / Engine Fire

just had an engine fire last night due to the wiring loom short circuiting againts the metal at the top of the engine :-[ :'( , i managed to put it out before it got too big from help with a bit of coca cola ;D . drove home withj no brakes , need a brake breather pipe i think and i have retaped the wiring , takin it to vauxhall garage tomorrow , jst thought i would warn u to check the wires at the top of the engine bay as they become loose and start rubbing against the metal  :-[

hello i have finally found a omega owners forum after lookin for days , i have a 1992 2.5 v6 which i am customising at the moment , does anybody know how i can upload any picz , cheers

not many plans for this one,

crank sensor has gone though, well i think its the crank sensor, so will give it a good service and get that changed asap so i can drive it again, im so glad to be back in an omega

just thought id update this thread saying that i am now the new owner of this omega, how is everyone?

im lowering her soon and putting on the 19''s in my sig from my old omega :)

i reckon the steinmetz rear bumper looks good but might be a bit too subtle for your looks , ill get you a few links from ebay if you want??

had a trial fit the other day and it fits fine , thanks for that  :y

as for the front bumper.. looks nice , was gonna go for that one but i want the euro look

yeah i know what you mean , full of novas with turbo conversions and gsi reps , but  the members cars are nice.. just too many wannabies and 2 many chav cars

got my new rear bumper now , the number plate recess is in the bumper so i can now smooth the boot



still looking for this bumper , no luck findin it though  :'(
