new cat and lambda, mangement system found an over ride , does anyone think it could be airflow ?? comments please , thanks ken

i need advice omega w reg gls failed mot for emissions co = 0.767 lambda 1,042 new cat and lambda is it the air flow as the petrol smell is strong
