Omega General Help / Re: Stag LPG Systems
« on: 16 March 2009, 12:26:40 »
Thanks Kevin, that's really useful advice. It may well be that I haven't turned the adjuster far enough as I was concerned about trying to adjust it too much and doing damage.

This seems to have been preset at .6 bar, I was expecting to need .9 - 1 bar on my 1.8 mondeo, which has as you suggest 2.5mm injector nozzles. That would seem to be correct based on the power per cylinder info supplied with the kit.

The default setting on the software is to switch to petrol at 0.6 bar, so as soon as I switch over the system switches back.

I'll try adjusting it further.

Omega General Help / Stag LPG Systems
« on: 16 March 2009, 10:21:59 »
Forgive the intrusion of a mondeo driver but I'm looking for some assistance with a Stag 300-4 LPG System, which I believe a number of people here use in their Omegas.

I have replaced a faulty front end with the Stag Kit, but I'm havuing trouble adjusting the reducer pressure. the turnscrew on the front of the regulator seems to have little of no effect to the pressure displayed on the software.

Has anyone had a similar experience, the pressure displays at arounf 0.6 bar, what do you run at?

I used to drive an Omega before moving to the Mondeo. If anyone is contemplating the same move take my advice and stick with the Omega, I wish I had!
