Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the replies.

I've contacted Taxi Al and once I've got the parts hopefully he'll save the day!

I did look up the How To section but I know my skills level and I'd only break something else trying to fix the leaks. Whenever I changed my old VX4/90 or Firenza cam cover I always seemed to snap a plug lead or crimp the gasket. So best to get the professionals in!

Cheers, Mark

Hi guys,

My poor ol' Omega is leaking oil from the cam covers onto both exhausts and the near side plugs, which I'm guessing is the cause of the missfire.

I'm not up to fixing it myself and it seems a little too involved for my local garage.

Please could you recommend someone who could sort it, preferably in the Woking, Surrey area?

How much is it likely to cost?

Thanks for your time,

Cheers, Mark

Yeah, someone mentioned the yellow sticker on here when I asked a similar question a while back. That's why I'm only going to change the drivers seat for now and get the front passenger one when I can, or maybe not bother and just have different coloured seats!

Hi all,

Sorry to add yet another question about seats but I have black leather seats in my 2003/03 Omega elite saloon that I'd like to change for cloth (and I want to keep my leather seats for when I sell the car).

So, with regards to the drivers seat, can I change just the seat (ie leave the runners on the car and just replace the leather seat with a cloth seat), assuming that the replacement cloth seat is from another facelift elite model (00 to 03)?

Are the electrics for a facelift elite cloth seat identical to a facelift elite leather seat, all other things being equal?

As long as the battery is disconnected while I change the seat over, what are the chances that I'll avoid the dreaded airbag light coming on?

Thanks for your help

Cheers, Mark
