Omega General Help / timing marks....
« on: 29 May 2012, 18:16:12 »
This may be a silly question, but just fitted a new belt and tensioner and water pump.. cars running and seems to be going well..  but checked timing marks with the timing tool that comes in the locking kit,  marks are a little out, as in they are on the edges of the marks on the tool rather than dead center, is this ok?

Omega General Help / timing belt....
« on: 02 May 2012, 16:32:29 »
Just setting about changing my timing belt, pump and aux belt, being slightly held up as got sent wrong locking kit but waiting on right one.. have everything stripped of the engine waiting to lock it up but I noticed that the belt is slack where it runs round the second pulley on the tensioner? Just where it is between the two sets of cam (hope that makes sense) but tight everywhere else.. is that normal? Car is running ok?

Omega General Help / fitting facelift doors to a preface lift??
« on: 19 September 2011, 18:21:55 »
Hey, just getting my mv6 ready for MOT.  Afterwards I am planning on changing the doors, can get four really good doors but they are from a face lift, mines is a pre facelift. Thought would be more cost-effective than spraying. Question is, are there any issues with this? Will my door trims fit ok? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for now
