Omega General Help / cruise control fitting a doddle!
« on: 03 February 2007, 13:49:26 »
after reading about cruise control on the forum i decided to give it a go! i rang vauxhall gave them all the car details and waited for a phone call from them. The part arrived the day after so i paid my money(40.77) and had the part fitted in 2 minutes, i now have fully operational cruise and would just like to thank everyone for their advice! :y
Next on the agenda is a chip which apparently boosts the 2.5 td bmw engine from 125 bhp(approx) to 140 plus any thoughts on this? :-?

Omega General Help / bumpy ride
« on: 06 January 2007, 16:03:30 »
hello wozzle here, thanx for advice on iffy start up problem, its sorted out now just put more fuel in and checked electrical plugs to fuel pump and she starts straight away every time, think i let the fuel get to low and dragged som muck through.
Anyway to my next problem, sometimes when u go over a slight bump in the road there is an awful clunk on the front end and other times over bigger bumps or potholes its not as bad,now obviously apart from avoiding holes which is not that easy with the state of the roads today has anyone any ideas? I have had new shocks, tyres and drop links but to no avail :-/

Newbie Welcome Area / iffy start on 1997 2.5 td cd omega
« on: 30 December 2006, 12:56:27 »
hello to all wozzle71 here 1st day on, just wondered if any of u fellas could help with my prob.
car has never had a start up prob before but the other morning instead of starting straight away after heater plug light went out i had to pump the accelerator for 3 or 4 secs, has been the same since once running though there are no hiccups or probs noticeable.
