Omega General Help / Remote stopped working, 2.5 v6 Elite

The remote was working fine and locked ok, then neither fob would unlock and had to unlock with key. Now they won't lock or unlock by remote, batteries are ok.
I have had keys go out of sync. with the immobilser and had to have them reprogrammed on dealers computer at £77.00! Is this a similar problem and is there an alternative to the Dealer again?

Omega General Help / Re: Heater Hose Leak - Help
« on: 10 October 2009, 21:03:43 »
The leak is to the left of the drivers footwell and sometimes drips on to my ankle when the leg is extended. Once in stop/go traffic it actually steamed up the instrument panel in front of the speedo.
Screen takes a long time to demist on drivers side as though there is moisture been blown on to it.
I will try and get my head down near the brake and see if I can see anything but at 6' and 63 years old that's not esay! also I would have thought the fuse panel would be in the way.

Omega General Help / Heater Hose Leak - Help
« on: 10 October 2009, 20:33:06 »
Hi All
I have a leak of hot water/fluid fom under the dash in the drivers footwell. It drips down from above my left foot so I guess its the hoses to or from the heater matrix.
Anybody know a way of fixing it without stripping the whole dash, steering wheel and airbag out.
All help appreciated.

(My car is a 2.5 elite)

Cheers Ray

Omega General Help / 2.2 Auto-no throttle response
« on: 30 March 2009, 23:21:39 »
My 2.2 will start but only runs at tickover,(approx 1000rpm) there is no throttle response whatsoever, the revs stay more or less constant and will keep the car moving. Could it be the throttle sensor or might it be the air mass meter. Any help welcome, please!
