Omega General Help / exhaust manifold on a 2.5 v6

I suspect that the drivers side exhaust manifold has sprung a leak and am planning to attempt it tomorrow, pls can somebody advice about the task i am going to attempt weather its a difficult one and some advice, will be much obliged.

Removed powersounder with horn all together, is that alright, would it cause harm or interfere with immoboliser central locking.

Thanks for the tips guys will try the first option as have already tried the bonnet switch, by the way mine is a 2.5 v6 elite 2001, does this make a difference.

Pls can somebody tell me why the alarm seems to go off at different times, some times its fine for a day or two, otherwise i cant arm the system at all, like since sunday the car is unlocked, in my garage as am scared to even think about dealers as prices could knock me dead.

Could anyone help with where the AC relay is as the engine warning light is on  and when i put it on tech2 it says ac relay low voltage, cleared light but it has come on and handbooks dont give any info. Slealership would charge around 200quid to diagnose and rectify was told.

I have a 51 plate 2.5 v6 elite in dark met blue with beige interior, fully loaded except leather, no history but car is immaculate and drives awesome, have some old mots trying to trace history by writing to the 2 prev keepers but the plonkers have not replied, traced dealership to where car was bought new but for my bad luck they closed down, if interested will send some pixs, send me your email, by the way i am in milton keynes  j14 m1.
