Thanks all who replied.  Got some pliers for £5. Made all the difference.  Have since done my own and a friends.

I am having trouble changing the in line fuel filter.  Is there a special tool for removing the old one.  I have tried pointed nose pliers to no avail.  Help would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Oakwoodpete
