hi there my omega has got a cdr 2005 radio and i would like to put a ccr 2006 in it can anyone tell me if i will need a new cage for it as it has two units instead of the single unit on the cdr 2005 many thanks

Yes you will, mainly thanks to the 2005 being a single din with a double din front panel....

I stand corrected!   I was completely unaware that the 2005 was single DIN behind front (although it does make sense)

If you end up needing a cage I have one.

Thanks guys got a cage now just waiting for CD CARTRIDGE TO COME OFF OF EBAY BRAND NEW

Most pattern exhausts for 2.2 are WRONG.  Try to stick to genuine. PM Markey Mark for a 2nd hand cat - they are reliable enough to use 2nd hand

vauxhall want just over £700 +vat for the pipe which i think is a bit of p**s taking

Hi guys need some help
On the down pipe there is a pre cat then a cat .
My question is do i need that pre cat in the the pipe as my down pipe has blown and all the exhaust centres keep showing me are ones with out the pre cat for the Z2.2XE  which is my engine :question

the car is a 2002 2.2 sport

I assume they have changed selector switch

went in saturday to vauxhalls and they said the switch was now in the country so will be ringing me this week to have the car in  :-?

Hi all my name is Paul i live in norfolk i drive a 2002 2.2 sport salon in black which i have grown quite attached to since i have owned it apart for one fault that vauxhall seem not to be able to sort at the moment with the gear selector switch so every time i start up i get all christmas tree lights come on down by the the gear shift hopefully they can sort in the new year. This is the second omega i have owned first was a 95 2.0 gls in white which came to a sad end with a tractor in 1999
big vauxhall's are my second passion but got to say my first is my 2001 Pontiac Bonneville  but dont get me wrong i enjoy driving my meega every time i am out in it
forgot to say great forum and happy new year to all
will post some pics when work get a little bit quite
