Looks very nice, very similar to the grill I have put on, think only difference is all the horizontal bars on my grill are chrome.

Good job and carnt wait to see it with your others bits you have ordered on.

Update guys

Fitted the stereo and it all went well. wow they are in tight when removing the original, once the keys were locked in took a mixture of pulling and wobbling side to side to get it to slowly start moving. Then removing the cage was just as much fun. the plugs at the back are all fitted to the cage so that made it a little harder but with a little screw driver unclipped them from the cage and got everything out.

Next fitted the new cage and realised I needed a Aerial adapter(Halfords is 2 mins away so £5 later was back.) used the PC99 wiring connector and a PC99-Ken steering wheel adapter cable and all plugged in fine and worked well.

Then once I clipped it into the cage I remembered I had to swap the red and yellow power connectors round so got it out again and just swapped the bullets on the loom.

All working well and now I can plug in the Ipod or my prefered way just play the music off a pendrive.

Picture is below.

Consider JVC

or 811 model
Both have variable illumination

Beat me to it   ;D

Ok,

Just for that I will recommend this one, as its what I am running in one of my own cars at the moment and absolutely love it

Thanks for the info, was looking to spend a lot less than those, not interested in bluetooth(kit already in car) they do look nice and I know clarion is a quality brand.

I have had the wiring adapter and dash kit sat in the shed for about a year now. I am leaning towards the kenwood and I think I am gonna take the plunge with this one. It takes iPod/USB drive and multi colour illumination.

Will let you know how it goes and post a pic when done.

General Car Chat / Re: Which Exhaust?
« on: 04 April 2012, 12:50:29 »
Looking to get a new exhaust shortly, Eternalcar or Neu-Car-Parts re quality and noise?

Eternal seem a bit complicated having to order seperate sections whereas with Neu you just order the whole system with the prices roughly comparable.

Opinions please :y

I just went the Eternal route and the quality of the centre boxes is impressive compared to some of the others I have seen.

DaveDND will probably recommend this one.

Thanks, anyone have one if these installed? So I can see what it looks like. Also it is blue illumination only?

Hi Everyone

Its time to remove the original car stereo and get something that can play MP3 and also so I can hook up my Ipod. does anyone have any recommendations of ones that look good installed, and have the same colour illumination?

Any pictures of your installations would help.  my car is a Face lift MV6 with silver trim inside. I have looked at the Pioneer and kenwoods so far with multi coloured illumination that should be able to match the rest of the dash.

nice, what size tail trim pipes did you use on the back box, thanks  :y

I got 54mm trims. nice snug fit with no wobble. :P
..........and the grille :)

Grill fitted fine, when I first offered it up if it had less curve than the original and the tips stood out.(length ways curve if that makes sense) but I screwed if from the centre outwards and it fitted fine. not sure how this compares to others but only took 5 mins.
What was the delivery charge on the grille?

Cost was 45 euros delivered, didn't think that was too bad

Hi Everyone

After the fun of getting the Eternal exhaust delivered(fitted a treat nice and easy once delivered) I thought I would get a new grill for a different look and I am very happy with it so far..keeping the old one so I can but it all back to original if needed.
