Took the mig to work today, was fine & managed to get out
the street just tho..(yesterday i couldnt move it  :-? )
But come 5pm, it was startin to snow & freeze on the road,
roads was covered & snow bleachin down.
Was easy on the throttle, snow button on TC button was showing on dash (think a  turned if off) got up the hill,
Bluddy thing, goes sideways when it wants & back end
went twice on turnin right  :o and i was going slow.
Hated goin up and down banks as the arse end just twitches
& car goes where it wants !!

What tyre pressure should be in ??
In the boot there is spare alloy, a tool box & a big sack of
wooden pellets litter to try n weigh it down a bit

Its not my drivin before u say owt  :D :D

Tyre pressures tend to drop in cold weather.

I would put something weighty in the boot.

Have got the spare alloy, heavy tool box & a large sack of wooden cat litter lol.
What do you mean about tyre pressure tend to drop.
Is 25psi enough for this bad snow
Cheers

Omega General Help / Tyre Pressure & snow Help please

Hi, driving the mig in snow & ice it goes its own way when
i dont want it to. Mick put a new tyre on the back which
its improved a bit & have plenty weight in the boot.

But have tyre presures at 25psi. Is this a good thing
or bad thing. I really dont wanna go sideways around
bends anymore, as snow & ice is far different  :o :o than wet roads.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies.
Have asked lad along the street how much to fit a gearbox
if needed & he said 80 to 100 quid, but he is a bit rough & ready.

Hi, we are looking at buying another omega as a runaround  until my s4 is back on the road and then mick(tyreburner) gets the omega & found one local on flea bay with less than 100k, loads of tax and mot, 3.0 elite all the toys, but asked the guy if it had any problems &
this was his reply...

Tyres are fine. Rear lots of tread. Front will probably need changing after a couple of thousand miles. I think the gear selector switch may need a clean, as after the car has been stood for a few days (bearing in mind the climate where I am) the auto box warning lights up. Once the car has warmed up, it drives perfectly. That's about it.

Whats your opinions on this please. - the climate means he lives next to see sea just by berwick??

Thanks
Tina
