The drivers side has a black plug and socket, the passanger side has grey, car parts guy tried to say I needed either black or grey, lucky I took no notice of him

I would have thought it would just cut out if there was a problem with the fuel pump, maybe its the multi rams not working? Does it pull well at higher revs?

I'm not sure if they were the original plugs or not, to be honest the other 5 look hardly used, I just hope all the missing bits burnt off rather than fell in the cylinder, its all back together now with new plugs and coil packs and seems fine, I hope it stays that way

Just an update on my car, plug 4 is totally dead and was loose, soot all over the coil pack, good news is the wells are all dry, all 4 prongs and the bit in the middle of the plug are gone, never seen a plug this bad

I don't know how long the plugs have been in on the 2/4/6 bank, could be the original plugs, its gone 88k miles, I've got both coil packs on order and will be changing the plugs and coil packs tomorrow, I hope this fixes it or I'll have no idea what to do next, lol

But I have no idea if its the plugs or coil, just that its misfiring, which I could tell without looking at the codes, lol, guess the only way to find out is to change the plugs first

I'll get my nephew to do the other side, my hands are too big to get in little places, and my days of playing with cars are long gone, lol, I was going to change all the plugs last year but only did the 3 on the drivers side in the end, I did try to do all but gave up, I still have 3 new plugs so I'll get them changed, but is it worth getting it code read? Or wont a faulty coil pack show up? I'm pretty sure they wont charge me so I guess the only thing I have to lose is time if it shows nothing but a misfire

All I can see is 4 pots are misfing, but I'm pretty sure only 1 is, it drives ok, just a bit lumpy at 2k

I have checked the easy side, that is dry, dont fancy doing the other side, I can get it plugged into a code reader as my dad and nephew both work in garages, just wondering if that would show if the coil packs are at fault before I spend lots, no doubt I'll need to order the parts as I cant see VX having them in stock
