Omega General Help / slow puncture
« on: 11 June 2011, 21:33:35 »
Hey. Have one alloy which will not stay inflated. About a week to go from 30psi to 10psi. New tyre and valve alloys seem fine,
Seem to remember an auto trader programme on sky saying that there is a rememdy that can be pumped in via the valve to stop this. Is this right??????

Omega General Help / wiper mechanism
« on: 01 June 2011, 21:20:21 »
Hey. Had a new wiper motor put on but now even with wipers off the screen it barely manages to move. Is the mechanism attached to the motor designed in such a way that it could be seizing...Would really appreciate some feedback as doing my head in now....Many thanks all

Had no trouble with car at all now for ages, now all of a sudden put a post on last night as a problem occured with the passenger central locking,,,now this morning the sport button sort of works but has lost it's click and is awkward to engage. Is it just a button change or is it more sinister to repair....facelifted 52 plate mv6 2.6. Any help appreciated....thankyou...

Omega General Help / central locking prob on one door????
« on: 24 March 2011, 20:59:46 »
Hello all. Noticed this evening that the central locking is not working on the front passenger door. Was working at lunch time. Assume some sort of solenoid behind door card. Just want to know that there is nothing else i should be checking. Is the door card easy to remove 52 plate MV6. All the other locks are working fine. Thankyou.....

Omega General Help / excellent response
« on: 20 August 2010, 21:03:48 »
Just an update. Thanks to all who replied to my problem with a coolant leak. As you all very quickly relied with the correct diagnosis. It was the heater bypass valve which my garage was aware of. Moaned alot as quite fiddly by all accounts.
    Once again excellent response chaps...Batt45
