is there a loom or easy way to get my jvc kv-adx1 headunit to work with the elites bose system? at the moment it has the ccrt700 in, put my headunit in and got no sound using the iso plug with the 2 plug ends on(3x plugs on car loom), can anyone help me with this?

Sorry, the JVC system is not compatable with the BOSE system. You will also need to replace the speakers as well, as the 2 Ohm BOSE ones will blow the JVC to bits should you opt for the preferred route of bypassing the BOSE amp.

Its failry well documented on here if you look through previous posts.

 ;)

can someone please recomend a unit that is then please?

hi, when stripping out the bose sound system is all the wiring needed as well to sell as a kit, also it is the ccrt700 head unit/cd changer(with all codes), perfectly working trip comp, all speakers, amp, parcelshelf etc what is it worth? do the electric sunroof kits really sell? how much are the xenoms(full set, ballasts, bulbs, washer kit ets) worth much(have repaired the adjusters inside the headlights?

Omega General Help / stainless exhaust
« on: 09 December 2009, 08:07:49 »
went to mike stokes yesterday for a quote on a cat back system and was quoted £550 all in for single exit system, not to loud, they use powerflow. is this about right, as a 'back street'(performance & style) place quoted £375, supposedly using powerflow as well, but when they did my mates astra they cut the pipe just after the cat, then welded the stainless pipe to the mild steel one(so i am very wary of using this place)
is there anyone in the poole/bournemouth area thats used mike stokes or performance & style, that can post pic's/ meet up so i can have a look, cheers
p.s mike stokes said they had a facelift miggy in a week or so back with a irmy kit on, had a duplex system for about £850, is that anyones on here as i would be very interested in seein this

Omega General Help / V8
« on: 18 August 2009, 08:30:22 »
is it relatively straight forward to put an LS2 or LS3 into the omega, as i found a english web site that can supply the V8 engines, looms and ancillerys all for around, my main concern is bodywork/mounting points, i know that i'd need a complete new exhaust, gearbox etc

Omega General Help / headlights
« on: 24 July 2009, 19:38:11 »
i have hella hid headlights on my mini-facelift omega, and the reflector/lense assembly is loose/floppy(for want of a better word) the ploblem is the black plastic adjustment slider on the adjuster thread(as you stand infront of the car its the ones on the right of each headlight, for adjusting the beam from left to right), the piece is broken in half off the thread the same has happened on both sides, are these availabe seperately? are the fixable with 2 part epoxy? how easy are the headlights to take apart? and what is used to seal the front lense to the unit(just incase i have to dis-assemble the headlight unit)?
cheers
