just checked fault code and it is saying 82 does anyone know what that is and how to fix

you need to do the pin test if you look you can find out how in maintance section. do you have oil in spark plug wells. if so get it out and replace plugs.

just fitted mass air sensor and a new spark plug at the front
mow it is all over the place reving up then nothing good thing though its idling albut rough.
its going to the local garage then scrap yard if they cant sort it anyone intersted in breaking it if they cant get it going

still cant find whats wrong cars fine when first starts up the when it warms up and the revs drop it idles for about 2 minuets then dies i have fitted 2 non vaux crank sensors and have looked at the idle valve and it is clean i have bought a mass air sensor and just about to fit. there is no oil
in spark wells if this dont work anyone want to buy a elite with leathers and 90k help

yes i have checked volts its at 13.5 practicaly constant when engine is running. could it be the mass air sensor?

engine light works but has never come on when it cuts out.

hi i have been pulling my hair out with this fault.
right i bought car with cracked offside manufold, but car was running fine then about 2 weeks later car started cutting out,
if im doing 70 down the motorway or driving at 30 round town.when it cuts if i floor it after about 3 0r 4 seconds it fires up and is ok for 5 or 6 miles then does the same. sometimes all the dash lights come on and i have to put it in neutral and start it. the engine light does not come on.
i have changed the crankshaft sensor twice with no change. fault code 31 come on fault code but like i say i have fitted two crank sensors. i also hve oil lack come up randomly and coolent level. and some times the fuel gage shows nothing and then reads normal. hellllp. the car is a 96 3.0l v6 elite
