Hi Guys,

After replacing the valve cover gaskets my Omega (2000 3.0v6) has been running execelent. Upto last week when the cruise suddenly stoped working.

I checked the switch which seems to be ok. Now I want to measure the signals at the controlunit/actuator, but I have no idea which wire has which function. Can anybody hook me up with some wiring diagrams? Or a list of the pins and their function.

Ofcourse all sugestions on what I should be checking next are highly apreciated :-)

Cheers,
Johan

Omega General Help / self leveling shocks replacement
« on: 31 July 2009, 19:58:11 »
I just replaced the self leveling shocks on my Omega (2000 facelift 3.0 V6 Executive) today. I was wondering if it matters when I connect the air hoses to the shocks. I connected them with the shocks fully in.

I just want to make sure all is ok as these things aren't cheap :-) It does seem to me the car is riding higher at the moment. But it does ride a lot better then with the old leaking shocks.

Newbie Welcome Area / Hello from Holland
« on: 31 July 2009, 19:36:08 »
Hello everyone!!!

I found the forum by accident and it seems there is a lot of technical information available here!

Anyway I'm from Holland and have owned an 2000 Omega EXE 3.0V6 for the last 5 years. It's behaved fine for the last couple of years. It's just now I either have to pay for the dealers kids to go to college or get the tools out myself to fix:
-Rear shocks (done today)
-Broken coil spring (also done today)
-Valve cover gaskets (seems like a long job  :( )
