it's not that hard m8 really, me and a m8 did mine saturday took us about 4 hours but it was freezing cold so a couple of breaks in that. you do need to change the housing think i paid about £28 off ebay for mine delivered

update on the t/c problem, had to replace the thermostat at the weekend and now the t/c works perfectly now the car runs at the normal temp but still no hot air from the heater though
