Tunnie, top up with water or coolant there's about and 1/2inch of coolant left on the tank!

Bugger, Seem to have loast all my coolant from the tank does this mean I need to start again with flushing and refillig with new coolant  :'(

I did that and I've just had a shower of coolant from the expansion tank what am I doing wrong!

Morning!

Almost there new coolants in cars upto temperature fans started coolants at the max mark

BUT!

I have cold air blowing though the vents temp set to high on both sides!

Any suggestions please!

Thanks Andy B for advice about antifreeze!!

I seem to remnoving a lot of bits at the moment trying to get this timing cover back on!!.

The auxilary bracket is this helpd on by the two largish torx bolts just on the corner of the engine block?????

Final piece of advice on this subject hopefully.

Need to replace the antifreeze which I can get from my local factors. Do I need to flush the system first?

God I'm a crap machanic!!

I've removed and fitted the new water pump now I cant get the flipping timing belt cover back on. The bracket that holds the aux belt pulley is in the way and I cant force the cover down behind.

Any suggestions please!!!!!

I did remove the plenum not sure I needed too tho! May have been able to do it with just the Throttle Body removed

Having invested in the right tools the old water pump has been removed!

It there any maintenance I should do before fitting the new pump?

Thanks for all the help guys.

Finally managed to remove cam cover and reveal the water pump! Me thinks I need a new tool kit as I cant seem to find a socet that will remove the pump bolts just keeps sliding round lol

So thats a job for another weekend.
 :)
