No it wasnt me in rotherham!
He did remove a relay  under the bonnet and short a circuit to get the fan working so i could drive home.
All the fuses are intact i checked and so did mr rac
he seemed to be convinced it was a loose plug as he kept bashing the clocks and dash with his fist and did say he would try and stick his arm up behind the dash to see if he could locate it but didint i have tried this but not had any luck :(
How hard is it to remove the clocks?
is it something i could do myself? dont really want to pay someone to put a plug back in if it is as simple as it sounds. :y

Omega General Help / Can anyone help me im getting an ear bashing!
« on: 14 November 2009, 21:40:57 »
hi all,
i recently purchased a vauxhall omega 2.0l 16v auto after alot of minor problems i thought i was in the clear till last week i was sitting in traffic for about 30 minutes when the engine management light came on about 5 minutes after this it went out along with the radio, electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, interior lights, speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and temperature gauge along with the fan on the radiator then 5 minutes after that she overheated and left me my wife and 3 kids at the side of the road not happy to say the least after calling the rac and being hooked up to a diagnostics machine i was told there is an open circuit and the man said that a plug has PROBABLY come off the back of the clocks has anyone ever heard of such a thing? and is this easy to resolve?
Neil.
