Depends on how brutal the techs were!  Either side cutters through the wiring and taped up or switch removed.  Dash area then reassigned to an alternate purpose - vascar, force radio or whatever - and bits removed at decommissioning and subsequent sale to Joseph E. Public......


iv taken the surround off and traced the wites and i cant find any cut wires any were

so if they have taken them out they did it properly

its a 1997 r reg its a prefacelift but its got steering wheel controls and xenons so im guessin its a mini facelift

the bit next to the stereo is missing so im not sure what should be there but there is a plug there


if poss would some 1 be able to take a pic of the plug on the tc switch that is next to the stereo just to compare to the plug on mine

but if it should be in the row with the hazzards any ideas why i aint got any wires goin there

hi guys i have just brought a ex met elite

the problem is its an auto and when i pull away quick the wheels spin tc light flashes on the dash and the engine bogs down

BUT i havent got a tc switch in the car!

iv been told it should be in the row with the hazzards ect

but theres only 1 space the isnt filler its between the drivers side heated seat and the eco switch and its got no wires going to the back of it

but there is also a space next to the stereo and i not sure if its ment to go there ??

any help would be much appriceated

thanks guys

i have just taken the blank switch out of my dash were i think the tc shoult go (in the row with the hazzard switch)

but there is no wires going to the back of it

all the other switchers are taken by heated seats rear blind hazzard eco rear window ect so there is only 1 blank 1

but as above there is no wires going to the back of the switch


any ideas ??

You say the TC is cutting in .. I take it the TC light flashes at you and the engine "bogs down" a tad ??


yea the light flashes on the dash and yea it bogs down

the pic on there is a facelift 1 im not sure if its ment to be in the row with the hazzards ect or if its ment to be fittid next to the stereo because its got that bit missing

iv just got my first omega iv had vectras for the last few years and i decided to get my self a omega

and im very happy with it

i do have a question tho

its and auto but every time i pull away a little fast the tc kicks in and the engine looses all its power

how do i turn the tc off

hey guys what would you guys suggest as a good backbox for a v6 omega

i am after summit with a nice deep rumble ya all no what i mean
