further to yesterdays post "smelly autobox". I have an idea they put dextron 2 in the gearbox and they didnt touch pas. [smiley=cry.gif]

help? had my omega 2.5 autobox rebuilt 2wks ago, since then when stopped with heater on it stinks of hot atf. Took it back last week, put car on lift, no leaks at all, is there a gearbox breather thats not been connected. thanks [smiley=dankk2.gif]

hello and a happy new year to all omega owners, this is my 3rd,my 1st was a 2.5v6 GLS. 2nd was a 3.2 elite with all the toys inc sat nav, and now my 2.5 elite estate .year 2000, 100k miles I just thought i,d introduce myself being the new kid on the block, even if I am 61 yrs young. bye now.

just a note to say thanks to elite pete for doing camcover gaskets on my 2.5 V6 I can now stop at traffic lights without smoke drifting from hood, I fully recommend him, he travelled from cheshire to bradford spent 5 hrs on the car and only charged £160 for gaskets, clear all breathers,and oil & filter change plus a little for his fuel. Once again thanks pete.
