Hi,there is two electric pumps either side of radiator for cooling fan, one on passenger side not working, I have checked and there is no power coming from wiring to pump!! Can anyone tell me if both pumps are linked via same fuse? Cant find any break in wiring but can only trace it back about 6" before it goes into loom!! cheers Marty
Thanks for your help guys, so if am reading right, pump on right next to battery should only come on after engine switched off to help cool system down also can start it manualy via a/c system!!!! I think. Will give it a run tommorow and watch temp then see what happens when I switch it off back at home. Will keep you posted. Thanks Marty
I dont know, am a Funeral Director not a mechanic, lol. Garage say no power going to pump on passenger side and that it should be running same as one on drivers side!! But they didnt know if same fuse ran both pumps??
Thanks Andy, I had it in at ford dealer today for MOT(it passed) I never thought there was a problem with the car, but they said that the pump on right hand side not working, the looked because they thought it was running hot when left ticking over!!! Will need to investigate because it is a working hearse and we just dont need a breakdown on route!!! Thanks once again Marty
Hi all, my 2.5 v6 hearse!! should both electric pumps for fans(one either side of radiator) run at same time??? one on left ok, one on right(passenger side) not working!! Anyone know if both for cooling or is one on right for a/c??? cheers Marty
