Er Yes & No, yes I have one, but no cos the I/R has never worked on that Key, kept meaning to get it sorted  :-/

Does the main interior light work from the same fuse as the dome sensor for the keyfob?
I noticed my main interior light isn't working but the two map lights work fine.

Red light flashes on fob when i press the button, just doesn't seem to get picked up by the dome sensor., batter was changed in the remote a few months ago, so I would not expect it to be that

Omega General Help / Immobiliser!
« on: 04 July 2007, 13:29:34 »
4am this morning, I get awoken by the sound of my alarm going off on my car, now I don't leg it down to the car as you would expect, because at the moment am suffering with a bad groin strain, but I peer out the window, everything looks OK and sure enough it stops on it's own.
On my way out later that morning I had a quick check around the car and all seems OK again, right off to the the Physio Terrorist.
Come to start the car later and firstly the key fob won't unlock the car, and then when i use the key to unlock the car, the immobiliser won't let me start the car.

Newbie Welcome Area / Hello Newbie Signing In

 :y

Hello Everyone, just signed up, as I picked up a 95 CDX 2.5V6 Estate about 2 weeks ago now, seems to run OK, 72k, just needs a good valet :-)
However there was always a little stutter to it, which seems to have got worse recently, now it really struggles around the 2000rpm mark.
I believe it may have sat for a while before I bought it, so it probably needs a good service.  I am a computer man so no Jack about cars!
Just thought I would mention the problem on here before I went to the garage to get it looked at, in case it's a common problem or something.
I live in the Peterborough area, so if there are certain garages that members recommend as being good, I am interested.

Thanks

Steve
