am haveing same problem myself open drivers window useing pliers pull up drivers button . open and close with key dont use dead lock . prblem sorted . keep pliers handy .

thanks mate . do your megs come in elegance models . over here they are opels and not vauxhalls. we get screwed over here on road tax and insurance . tax is 900 per year on a 2.2. on a 3ltr its 1300 per year .its robbery .

am looking for help to find good meg mechanic in ireland .this is my first meg its a 2.2 dti elegance. am very impressed with it and want to keep it in good shape . dont mind having to travel to the uk . prefably wales . can any one help . a new comer :

am looking for a good meg mechanic in IRELAND as mine needs  a service and a few jobs before the test . will travel up NORTH if i have to. the parts i need are DOOR SOLINIOD CAR HORN AND A SPARE ALLOY . MY CAR IS A 2002 2.2dti may also need a cat .  HELP
