Another option is the Mac mini - I have a mate who's fitted it in his Spitfire - they are really tiny, and can be controlled from a mac remote or an ipod touch / iphone.... you've then got full iTunes etc. He's then got a small screen about 7" on the tunnel.
You don't have to run OSX either (unless your an Apple geek like me!) - they will run XP, Vista etc. using the Bootcamp utililty provided.
Costly, but works well  :y
Surely thats not a plus point :o
For once, I fully agree with you....iTunes sucks <edited>

Anapod Explorer does all that iTunes can do (and a whole heap more), and weighs in at next to <edited> where the system footprint is concerned.

Get yourself an original X-Box, introduce it to XBMC (or Linux), then add either a touch screen or a standard screen with the X-Box remote and you have your full on media solution all in one hit for next to nothing.

The other advantage is that there is no need for a 12V - 240V invertor, the X-Box PSU takes 12V as standard.

It can only be the hazard switch based on what you describe.
A squirt of switch cleaner may help, but a secondhand switch will only be pennies and can be swapped in minutes.

I would say when in drivers seat etc, the light projects 6-10 ft max more like 6ft.

both seem level to each other, deff no where near low beam projection, not sure if fog though.
Find yourself a flat surface and park 25' away (that's 25' from front bumper) from a wall/garage door/etc.
Measure the height from the centre of the fog light to ground, and use that figure to draw a line on the wall at the same height.
Switch on your fog lights and see where the top of the beam strikes the wall, aim the tops of the beams so that they strike 1˝" (40mm) below the line and you'll be as near as damnit for alignment.

....
You can have as many batteries as you like in parallel, providing the total Ah capacity doesn't exceed 75Ah (according to the specs of the Ctek charger).
 ....

or 120 for maintenance
Correct, but "maintenance" charging is not actually charging.

An intelligent charger will not reliably fully charge 2 batteries connected in parralel

I'm quite willing to listen  ;) ........ what's the difference between two in a parallel & one bigger capacity battery, as far as charging them is concerned?
Other than charging time & current, nothing.

You can have as many batteries as you like in parallel, providing the total Ah capacity doesn't exceed 75Ah (according to the specs of the Ctek charger).

When connecting batteries in parallel, the voltage will stay the same but the current capacity will be the sum of all the batteries combined.
When connecting batteries in series, the voltage will be the sum of the batteries and the current will remain constant at 55Ah.

The above figure is based on the 065 battery quoted by Skruntie.

.....
065 = 55Ah
Two of those in parallel = 110Ah - which is 35Ah more than what the Ctek charger can handle in charging mode.

Anyway .... Ctek doesn't agree with you

Am now the proud owner of of one of these chargers.   :y

Batteris are either 065 or 063 cant remember exactly, Either way they would be what I was told on here before they were bought.  One is supplied by Vx and is a Vx Go battery.

Just dug the reciept out for the other, is a 065 with 2 year warranty with just happened to run out on the 12th April.  :-/

Just connect it up, it'll be more than OK.  :y  :y  :y

KW just wanted to let us all he knew V=IR etc

Two of those in parallel = 110Ah - which is 35Ah more than what the Ctek charger can handle in charging mode.

I have a Ctek XS3600 battery charger. If you have 2 batteries that are charged I would think that something similar would be able to maintain a charge on 2 in parallel.
So long as you remember to double up on the current as well as take one or two other things in to account (such as resistance, impedance, Ah ratings, etc)

do the maths then ...  you're the spark ....
I'll do the math in 5 seconds flat once I know the specs of the battery/batteries.

 ....... ask Skruntie
As you were the one who originally suggested that I do the math, why don't you go fetch those figures for me and then report back (along with a tea + 2)  ;)

Has anyone changed their sidelight bulbs to get a closer match to the xenon headlights? I have seen a few led W5W bulbs that look good but is their any issues with the on board diagnostics? Only asking as I know you cant do it on my Vectra, throws up a bulb warning.
You only get the lamp warning if the LED replacement doesn't come with the loading resistor built in.
What may be a bigger concern (depending on how much respect you have for lighting regs) is that the light output from LED's is directional.

Okay guys how do we remedy it then
That all depends on what you had, and what you have now.

and could this be why the air bag light came on although we disarmed the battery for 30 mins before and after before touching the wires :question
Angie xx
As above.

As TB says, completely different seats (and when you see the schematic for them, you'll see that the "wiring" can easily go wrong if you aren't electrically minded).

Hi KW

have you yourself installed a runlock?

Regards

Ploppy
No, but I have installed a turbo timer (pretty much the same thing depending on how much you wish to spend).

PS
Should add that I am a sparks by trade, so chopping wiring about doesn't scare me in the slightest.
