changing the pads on a 2.5 v6 on friday is there any special way to push the piston back ?
i.e just gentle squeeze shut or wind in ?

forgot to ask whats the best way to adjust the hand brake with out removing the calipers as i dont have much time and it is due to be mot'd fri

was thinking fluid so a cheap fix hopefully ?
the car is already cheap one t&t'd
and ive got a set of drilled discs and ebc pads that hopefully will fit it just wanted to check it werent the cailpers

looking at a miggy but the brakes feel spongy and dont seem to work till ure push half way down fluid level is ok pads are worn but life left in them and the discs are ok only a slight lip on the edge

hi im matt and im from bolton in the northwest i used to have a vectra v6
and then a tigra but missed the v6 so decided as im addicted to vauxhall i would trade up to a omega so im now looking for a decent one
im a recovery manager and retired door man and live with my missus
and hopefully will get to kow people on here i also know some stuff about cars too so will give advice if i can help
