Its warm but not hot, you can touch it and keep your finger on it, its warmer than negative side if thats any help, but the bloody thing is starting at the minute taking its time and tuning over slow its doing my head in.....

Have measured when on idle gettig 13.9 on 2000rpm still at 13.9 with load on reading 13.2 on idle and 13.4/13.5 with load what you think?

Thanks for the help up to now, it looks like it isn't immobiliser fault, charged battery fully car started straight away couple of times. Left it then not starting, but noticed when cranking battery smoking, never known that before. Battery topped up,  Tested it showed 12.7v after charging put some load on it down to 12v Started it dropped to 6v then on idle was 13.9 and on fast idle 2000rpm still showing 13.9 so i know battery done in but not to sure about alternator, all the earths seem solid any ideas

did get spare key, just looked and no little thing even in it so thats why that one dont work, thanks Chris

New to Omegas car spot on then all of a sudden problems with starting, did paperclip test and came up with fault code 145, which after looking thru is Immobiliser wrong signal. Can anybody shed a bit of light on this cos its doing my head in thanks :-/
