thanks for that, sorry to sound thick, but what is it that needs replacing, cleaning, adjusting then?
P1890 might give us a clue :-/
Possible causes might be:
- leaking exhaust manifold (lets air in & confuses lambda sensor)
- faulty lambda sensor
- misfire (but ECU should store a misfire code)
- faulty fuel injector
- faulty wiring
essentially the ECU cannot tell you the cause. It needs you (or an experienced auto technician) to solve the problem.
