Thanks for the replys. Thats a massive help!

I ve got a friend who does all my work, ex vauxhall mechanic. I ll set him on to it! Will try the rear ABS sensors first and give them a good clean. Fingers crossed!

Also the car cuts out from time to time but not frequently.

Anyone know what the fault with it is?

2.5 v6 auto

On many forums for various cars owned in the past.

as you can imagine going from 49 mpg to 24 mpg was a little shock!! haha

and a previous little toy:
