"Champagne."  I like it!  It doesnt sound half as bad just by calling it that.  Ha.

To be honest, the colour doesnt bother me too much.  Its the car I need.  But out of interest, are champagne ones fairly rare?  And silver seems to be the most common omega colour?

Having never even glanced at an omega before today, I honestly couldnt believe the size of the boot in these things!  Its huge!  One of the main reasons Im as keen as I am now, as with 2 small kids (and I currently drive a 2 door astra!) a car like the omega would be a godsend.....

So, the belt and pulleys will need doing within 1000 miles. (Thanks for that, whoever posted it) thats not too much of a problem..... Anything else?

(Also, it has a "traffic master" button.  I take it in this day and age its best to just ignore that its there?)

Thanks again.

Hello "OOF" users.  Firstly, I hope this post is in the right place etc, and sorry If not.

Now, Ive never owned an Omega before, but went looking at one today and would like some feedback if possible from people like you guys "in the know."

The Omega Im interested in is an 2.0 CD Auto.  X reg (2000).  Its got 96k on the clock.  Cambelt was done at 57k.  Last service was done at 85k.  Sold with 2 months tax and 12 months MOT.  Part Serv His.  4 Owners.  Condition = Interior 8/10, Bodywork 8/10.  Up for £1000 (trade) and he says he doesnt want to budge on the price.

The only slightly disapointing thing is its gold ( I dont know the Vauxhall Name or code) and to me, that says "grandpa."  But you cant have it all...

From that Info, is there anything I should be wary of, or look out for?  Could there be a hidden problem, or does it sound Okay enough to you guys?

ANY feedback appreiciated....

Many thanks, and a big hello.
Em
