dose anny one know what this box is for, its in the 98 car but not the 96. I did not transfer it when i swaped engins.Could this be stopping my car from starting?

yes it has the chip alright, there was one thing that consernd me tho, on the 1998 car thers a small black box near the ecu box contaning 6/7 big fuses but it was not on the 1996 car

ok well, I had a mint 1996 2.0 but i fried the engin, so i bought an 1998 doner car and fitted the engin from that into it along with the ecu, aerial and chip. The problem is that it wont start, it turns over normally but it is not getting fuel nor is it sparking. Has anny one encounterd this problem before? If anny one could shed some light on this problem it would be grate because its driving me round the bend :-/ :-/
