Hi all
My gearbox is not working in "D" mode, works fine when using the gears manually & there was no warning lights showing.
I have removed the selector switch & cleaned the contact & refitted & aligned the switch using the alignment points with a suitable drill bit. Then I got the orange spanner light on the dash. I connected my ebay version "My Naff Code Reader" & the gearbox code was p0748 pressure solenoid intermittent. I then carried out the gearbox oil level sequence & I am now getting p0748 unknown DTS permanent. I have double checked the selector switch alignment & it is good. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the info Welung, does the key have to be for an alarmed vehicle or will any key work (obviously the correct style key) and do you have to fit a new transponder or can a 2nd hand transponder be programmed to my car?

Hi all, I want to get another key for my Omega off ebay but not sure what to get. 1 ad says I need that key because I have a factory fit alarm & other ads say their key will work & don't mention anything about alarms?? Do I need to get a certain key because of the factory fit alarm or can any key be programmed?

Hi all
Just got a cruise stalk for my 51 2.6 CDX auto but just noticed its a 2 wire version, will this work or do I need the 4 wire version??   :-/

Thanks for that Pete, the Elite is a 3.0 & I was slightly edging towards that as its £500 cheaper & the insurance iss cheaper. Thanks

Hi all, just joined & not an Omega owner just yet but will be soon. Don't know which to get, seen an MV6 with the old style dash & also an Elite with the newer style dash, both W reg & same miles. Anyone got any prefferences?? All info appreciated.

Received these adusters in a couple of days & fitted them today so no more floppy headlights!! Very well made items & well worth the cost. A must fit for any Omega owner.
