This is the second time this has done this recently.

:D removed coil pack and 3 and 4 cylinders were water logged, blew out the water cleaned the plugs refitted coil pack woohoo running sweet. Did notice when fitting water was dripping from the foam on the scuttle right down onto the top of no4 cylinder my brother had this car for 4 years after me giving it to him and ive just got it back he said 1 and 2 cylinders got wet with him after really heavy rain,he had it reversed up his drive where i drive mine up so the water was running back with me.
Anyway thanks for the instant advice guys, much appreciated.

hi ian, take the outer window waist trim off, drop the door glass, and look inside the door round the handle area.its possible the rod going from the outer handle to the door catch has jumped.if so you will have to lift the handle from the outside and try and put it back in, tricky.

« on: 28 April 2011, 19:27:33 »
had the same problem, had my own buisness and accrued a no claims bonus, after the garage going tits up at xmas i had to insure my own car £345 46 yrs old 5 yrs ncd thought minted.provided proof from last ins co.AVIVA replied saying computer says no,we cant accept that because its a traders policy.grrrrrrrr therefore they quoted me from a jump from £34 a month to £82 per month nearly £600 dearer rip off so choose carefully and thats afer paying nearly £15000 for insurance for the garage.go without it only costs you £150 and 6 points lol
